Handmade ceramic Arrosticini holder, Fioraccio decoration
The artisanal ceramic arrosticini holder is handmade and hand-decorated with the typical floral decoration from Abruzzo “Fioraccio” by Ceramiche Liberati. The arrosticini holder is a useful container to keep hot and serve arrosticini (a typical dish from Abruzzo consisting of sheep meat skewer). It is the ideal object to serve arrosticini from Abruzzo but it’s useful for every kind of skewers.
“Fioraccio” is the most representative floral decoration of Abruzzo. It is usually painted on kitchen objects: jars, plates, spoon rests, coffee cups, trays, bowls, biscuit jars, etc. The decoration consists of handpainting seven wild flowers, typical of our territory, on a light-glazed object. Several ceramists in our region make this decoration, but the “Fioraccio Abruzzese” by Ceramiche Liberati is recognisable by its vivid colours.
The arrosticini holder shape is different from the classic pitcher with handles, mostly used in restaurants. Ceramic allows to keep warm cooked arrosticini and its capacious shapes allows to avoid the use of aluminium foil. The ceramic arrosticini holder is a useful kitchen accessory, it is easy to clean and be aso washed in a dishwasher at max 60°.
It is made using materials suitable for food use and can contain 15/20 medium size arrosticini. When purchasing the object, a Guarantee Certificate will be attached to prove the craftsmanship of the work.
