Ceramic Christmas ball Santa Claus
Ceramic hand-painted Christmas ball with Santa Claus
The Italian ceramic Christmas ball is made with artisanal methods, entirely handmade and hand-decorated. It represents Santa Claus with a gifts sack on his shoulder on a winter landscape background.
There are different stories about Santa Claus, different for their chronology and for the narrated events. All versions of modern Santa Claus mainly come from the same original character, that is Saint Nicola from Derme (Turkey): they say he found and brought back to life five children, who had been kidnapped and killed by an innkeeper. That’s why he was considered the children protector. It is sure that Santa Claus, as he is called in English-speaking countries, is and will always be an irreplaceable Christmas character, good and generous. In Italy, Babbo Natale, brings his gift to children during the night between December 24th and 25th, leaving them under the Christmas tree. Maybe this year he will find a ceramic Christmas ball with his portrait on it.
Flattened ceramic ball with hand-painted Santa Claus and winter landscape, it is equipped with its clip, ready to be hung on the tree. The artisanal making process of the ceramic Christmas balls is guaranteed by the Guarantee Certificate attached to the object at the time of purchase.
N.B.: the clip might differ from the one in the photo depending on the availability.
