Modern ceramic panel
Ceramic panel, semi-refractory black clay on steel base
The handmade, modern panel is handmade in Italy and is a not reproducible, unique piece. The artwork has ceramist Master Giuseppe Liberati’s signature on. The ceramic part of the panel is made of semi-refractory black clay. Semi-refractory clays, also called “Semire clays” are particular mixtures that can be included in the category of the “unconventional” ceramics.
The term “semi-refractory” refers to ceramic objects cooked at temperatures between 1000° and 1300°C, composed of clay mixtures with a porous or partially vitrified effect after cooking. This particular type of black clay, is suitable for the creation of decorative or artistic works. The ceramic panel was moulded and decorated by hand. Its decoration comes from the inspiration of geometric patterns with irregular lines. Master Giuseppe Liberati, skilled innovator and pioneer in the field of modern and contemporary ceramic, enhances the central part of the pane giving it a brighter color.
The ceramic part has been mounted on a steel support that has been treated as required. The support is equipped with hooks, ready to be hung on the wall. The chromatic range is perfectly balanced thanks to the study for the application of glazes and color suitable to black clay and it perfectly matches with the steel base.
The modern ceramic panel is a unique piece suitable to different furnishing style, not reproducible. When purchasing this item, there will be attached a Guarantee certificate as a warranty of the uniqueness of the product.
