Ceramic plate with spheres and application, reflections technique
The ceramic plate with spheres and application is moulded and finished by hand. The contemporary design artwork is an interior design decoration. Unique piece, non reproducible. The embossed decorations have been manually applied following the best contemporary ceramic making techniques. The ceramic plate is a unique and polished decor artwork signed by ceramist Master Giuseppe Liberati.
All the colours, the metallic shades and the iridescences were obtained using the complex “reflections” technique. The embossed decorations were manually applied following a modern style with particular attention to the monochromatic effect.
Characteristics of the “reflections” technique
The ceramic decoration technique with “reflections” is very particular and difficult to perform, it takes the necessary tools, materials and knowledge in order to be able to foresee the decoration final result. The ceramic “bisque” plate was decorated with reflected glazes with dark, copper red tones. The metallic shades and the iridescences were obtained thank to a careful application of the glazes. For the “reflections” technique a third cooking is required, at 720°C. At this temperature, in the oven, some oxygen reductions are induced, which allow the transformation of the metal salts which make the colors become iridescent.

The ceramic wall plate is entirely made in Italy. It is an interior design artwork that will give an elegant and fresh touch to your home.
