Hand-painted majolica knob Smeraldo, bronze base
The hand-painted majolica knob with Smeraldo decoration was crafted artisanally by Liberati Workshop using the finest Italian majolica, finished and assembled by hand. Ceramiche Liberati produces a wide range of porcelain and majolica knobs available in different sizes and with different bases: brass, bronze, chrome or entirely ceramic. The knobs models distinguish depending on their shape and decoration and are categorized according to the material they are made of: majolica or porcelain.
Each knob is supplied with a standard 20 x 4 mm steel screw and is immediately ready to be used for furniture, sideboards, wardrobe, windows, doors, shutters, dressers or other doors of various kinds and material. Once purchased, the ceramic knob is easy to apply on the furniture: just insert the screw into the hole on the furniture and use a screwdriver to make sure the knob is well screwed.
Name description of majolica knob “Smeraldo” decoration
Contrary to what you might think, the name given to the Smeraldo knob does not derive from the flower band represented on the top of the knob. But rather, the model name derives from the colour used for the decoration, i.e. emerald, in Italian “smeraldo”. Emerald is a variety of beryllium, which has a more or less intense green colour. In fact, the emerald colour is a particularly vibrant shade of green with a blue base. The represented flowers are enclosed in a band composed of violets and leaves. In addition, the particular shape that is distinguished by the small relief pattern placed in the center of the top of the knob makes the model both original and refined.
Each model and type of knob decoration corresponds to a line of home accessories such as handles, knobs, coat racks, switch cover, etc. Currently, only knobs are available on our site, but you can ask for further information at info@liberati.net.
Sizes of the majolica knob
The majolica Knob “Smeraldo” decoration with bronze base is available for purchase online in three different sizes:
Large – height 3,4 cm x diameter 2,8 cm; weight: 35 g.
Medium – height 2,9 cm x diameter 2,4 cm; weight: 23 g.
Small – height 2,1 cm x diameter 1,9 cm; weight: 10 g.
All the artifacts made by Ceramiche Liberati Workshop are subject to strict quality control, respecting the requirements of an excellent aesthetic taste.
