Ceramic cachepot Fioraccio
Artisanal ceramic cachepot, Fioraccio decoration
The cachepot is made of artisanal Italian ceramic and is hand.decorated with a decoration named “Fioraccio” from Abruzzo. The cachetpot, which in French literally means “to hide a vase” is a plant vase container. Each phase of the making of the cachetpot, from moulding to decoration, follows the best artisanal tradition of Italian ceramic making.
“Fioraccio” is the most representative floral decoration of Abruzzo. It is usually painted on kitchen objects: jars, plates, spoon rests, coffee cups, trays, bowls, biscuit jars, etc. The decoration consists of handpainting seven wild flowers, typical of our territory, on a light-glazed object. Several ceramists in our region make this decoration, but the “Fioraccio Abruzzese” by Ceramiche Liberati is recognisable by its vivid colours. To know something more about the “Fioraccio” decoration, we invite you to read our blog article dedicated to the main features of the true Fioraccio from Abruzzo.
The cachetpot ceramic vase, unlike common flower vases, has not a drilled bottom, therefore it doesn’t drain the exceeding water. The cachepot is mainly useful for vases to be leaned on furniture because water does not come out of the bottom. The cachetpot is a decorative vase holder. The plant can either be put with its own vase directly in the cachetpot in order to protect the plant roots, or you could fill the vase bottom with some stones to isolate the vase from the plant to avoid water stagnation.
The artisanal ceramic cachetpot is an useful and refined decor object for your home, it is suitable to both exterior and interior surroundings. The object surface is easy to clean with a moist cloth and can also be washed in the dishwasher at max 60°.
