Majolica knob Creta blu, name description
In the ceramic field, the word “creta” (clay) is used to identify the incoherent, calcareous material which looks like white powder composed mainly by microscopic remains of small organisms mixed with clays. It is used for mastics, ceramics, chalkc, etc. In other words, “creta” is a synonym for “clay”. For the model name, the Liberati Workshop took the inspiration by the Mediterranean Greek island of Creta, which means “new” or “multilingual”. The Creta model is one of the knobs made by Liberati Workshop with a structure entirely made of porcelain and decorated using the brushing technique. The top decoration of the knob represents a blue-yellow flower with 8 blue petals.
Each model and type of knob decoration corresponds to a line of home accessories such as handles, knobs, coat racks, switch cover, etc. Currently, only knobs are available on our site, but you can ask for further information at firstname.lastname@example.org.
